Michael from NY Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If you change your reservation arrival date, for example from August 28th to the 29th, in order to take advantage of a free dining plan offer, are existing ADR or FP+ reservations affected (cancelled) or do these remain in place? Thanks

    Hi there Michael!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I can certainly understand wanting to take advantage of a Free Dining Promotion that may become available. Your existing Advanced Dining Reservations should not be affected or cancelled if you change your date of arrival. Because Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can book their FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to their date of arrival, you may lose any FastPass+ experiences that were booked for the 28th unless the change is made within 30 days prior to your date of arrival. Guests that are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel are allowed to book FastPass+ experiences 30 days in advance. If you do not plan to visit a park on the 28th, then your FastPass+ selections should not be affected as long as you have valid theme park admission for your remaining vacation dates.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Michael!

    Happy Planning,
