Had to change my res from March to first week in May. Been to WDW that week before and crowds were low, but now there is an Expedition Everest Marathon (new?) on May 4th. Do you think this will influence crowd levels like other marathons? Thanks! :)

    Hi Jodi!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

According to my friends at the independent website TouringPlans.com, the crowds are expected to be high on Saturday, 4 May and Sunday, 5 May.  The crowds are about medium just before that weekend and medium right afterward.  TouringPlans.com is the website for the research team behind the tour book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World'.  They are famous in the Disney fan community for producing a crowd calendar and plans on how to manage large crowds.  Their predictions and plans are based on a lot of math and years of data collection.  I am a huge fan of their work.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
