    Tanner from FL Asked

Is there any way to change my regular ticket to a Florida resident ticket? I’m a resident but chose to get a regular ticket due to having trouble with the online verification. Thanks in advance!

Hey there, hi there, ho there Tanner!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for submitting your question! Aren't the offers for Florida residents so magical? I also see that your trip is coming very soon, you must be so excited. I know I would be! You will be there just in time for EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts on January 14. I absolutely love EPCOT's seasonal festivals, they make each visit so unique!

As for your ticket, theme park tickets can be upgraded to have the Park Hopper option, to add more days or to an Annual Pass. However, changing the type of ticket from a regular theme park ticket to a Florida Resident park ticket might be a bit trickier. In this case, I would recommend contacting a Guest Relations Cast Member, either by chat, email or phone. Guest Relations Cast Members truly are real-life Fairy Godparents and can help you with almost anything and everything. I always turn to them when I have an issue!

If you do decide to purchase Florida Resident park tickets in the future, you can still activate them at a Guest Relations window at the main entrance of any of the four parks by bringing your proof of residence. Just remember that you either need to provide a valid Florida driver's license, a valid Florida state-issued ID card or a valid Florida-based military ID. If you do not have any of these pieces of identification, other options are also accepted.

I hope this was helpful, Tanner, and I am wishing on a star that you have the absolute best day ever on your vacation! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. After all, you and me we're in a club now!

    Have a magical day,
