Hi, How do I change a profile character picture on the Friends & Family List on the My Disney Experience? I click on "Update" but it does not give me an option to update the character picture of that person.

Hi Sam, and welcome to planDisney!

I remember having a similar issue a while back when it came to changing the character profile of the Family & Friends on my list.

To change the profile character (using the My Disney Experience mobile app):
    1. Go to your “Profile” and select “Family & Friends List” at the top of the screen.
    2. Choose the guest on your list to whom you would like to make the change and “Change Character.”
    3. From there, choose the character and done.

Please note that you can only change the character of the accounts that you manage. If there is someone on your list whose account you do not manage, they will have to make the change on their end.

Have you tried completing the task on a separate smart device? For some reason, I had difficulty facilitating the change from my device, so I switched to my husband’s device (we share an account), and I could make the change without a problem. Also, I deleted and reinstalled the app, which worked like a charm. Perhaps, one of those will work for you in this case. If all else fails, call (407) 939-4357, and a cast member can assist you with changing that profile character.

We are here if you have additional questions.

Have a magical Walt Disney World Resort experience!
