How can I change primary name on Disney cruise to a guests name in stateroom?

Hi, Sherry! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I see you’d like to change the primary person on your reservation. One summer, I surprised my mom with a cruise; unfortunately, she hurt herself before we sailed and couldn’t go. While I was disappointed and was looking forward to a relaxing mother-daughter vacation at sea, I was able to add my sister instead. The two of us had an amazing time!

The good news is that all names can be changed before the final payment date. There are different rules if you are past the final payment period. Then at least one name in the stateroom needs to be the same as the original booking. It looks like that is the case for you. All you have to do is call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532, and a Cast Member can change the lead name for you. If you booked with a travel agent, they would be the one to make the switch.

Sherry, I hope this helps put your mind and ease. Please feel free to stop by planDisney with any additional questions. We are always happy to help!
