How do I change the other person only reservation they can no longer come with me and I'd like to bring someone else in their place

    Hello Eli,

Thanks for coming to see us at planDisney!

The way I see it, nothing says "You've got a friend in me" like bringing a friend to the Walt Disney World Resort!

It sounds like you have your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets purchased and your theme park reservations made through the Disney Park Pass system. The important note to keep in mind about the Disney Park Pass reservations that you make through the Disney Park Pass system is that the theme park reservations can't be modified. You can create reservations through the Disney Park Pass system, and you can cancel reservations for Guests you select using the "My Plans" features in your My Disney Experience account. However, there isn't a feature that would enable you to modify an existing theme park reservation.

One suggestion I have is to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if the theme park you wish to visit has available reservations on the day you wish to visit. You might then consider canceling the existing reservation through your "My Plans" features and booking a new reservation for the theme park you want to visit on the day you want to visit. To cancel a theme park reservation, you can go to your "My Plans" area and look at your "Daily Itinerary." You'll be able to see your theme park reservations, and you can click the "View Details" link to see more information and to see a link to cancel the reservation for specific Guests you select.

Before you take the step to make theme park reservations, you would want to take the steps to add your new Guest to your "My Family & Friends List" list and then reassign a theme park ticket to that Guest

Another approach you could take, if this new Guest has their own My Disney Experience account and their own theme park ticket, could be to have them make a reservation of their own if there is reservation availability.

I hope this information is helpful, Eli. If you'd like additional help, you can contact the Walt Disney World Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357 or chat with a Cast Member online

Eli, be sure to stay up to date with all that's new and exciting at the Walt Disney World Resort by following the Disney Parks Blog. It's a great way to stay in the know as you make your plans.

Here's wishing you a wonderful visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
