How do I change a person to a different person on the reservation and also add another person

    Hello, Marissa!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. It sounds like you’re gearing up for a magical trip to the Disneyland Resort!

When it comes to reservations at Disneyland, there are a couple of different types to keep in mind. If you’re staying at one of the hotels, you can call the "Hotel Reservations" or "Vacation Packages" lines, depending on what you originally booked. In most cases, they can update Guest names without any trouble. Just remember that adding another Guest is subject to room capacity and may come with an additional cost, since room rates often depend on the number of Guests.

If you’re referring to theme park reservations, the process depends on the type of ticket. For completely unused tickets, you don’t need to change the name at all, as the ticket becomes assigned to the Guest once they scan into a theme park for the first time. If you would still prefer to update the name, you can call the "Tickets" line or use the chat feature on the Disneyland website.

As for adding someone to an existing park reservation, each Guest needs their own reservation to enter a theme park. If availability is limited, keep checking the Disneyland website. Guests often cancel the day before, and spots can open up.

Also, if your visit is after July 1, 2026, make sure to take flight on Soarin’ Across America in Disney California Adventure Park! My sister experienced this new version at Walt Disney World and said it was absolutely spectacular!

Marissa, enjoy every moment of your visit to Disneyland! We hope to see you real soon!
