Hiya, Jillian!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question today! While not all Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets currently require theme park reservations,
select ticket types (such as my Annual Pass) do, so I'm happy to walk you through the process involved in modifying an existing theme park reservation.
Because Mickey understands that plans change and Guests often want to leave room for a bit of spontaneous magic during their vacations, Walt Disney World Resort has helpfully made the simple modification process available through both the My Disney Experience app and the
Walt Disney World website allowing Guests to edit their reservation of the fly...as easy as
bibbidi bobbidi boo!
- To modify a reservation in your My Disney Experience app you will want to select the 3 horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen and then scroll until you see 'Park Reservations' under 'Plan My Next Visit'. Select 'Park Reservations' and then 'Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations'. This will direct you straight to the Theme Park Reservation page of your My Disney Experience Account. Once there (you might be prompted to log in first), You'll scroll until you see the date of the reservation you would like to modify and will select 'Modify Reservation' beneath the Confirmation Number.
- To modify a reservation from a web browser you'll begin by hovering your cursor over the 'My Disney Experience' heading and then selecting 'Theme Park Reservations' from the dropdown menu that populates. You'll then click on the blue button that reads 'Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations' to be directed to your current theme park reservations where (just like above) you'll scroll until you see the date of the reservation you would like to modify and select 'Modify Reservation' beneath the Confirmation Number.
I hope this was helpful, Jillian! Don't forget that you can also use the My Disney Experience app to check wait times, view your Disney PhotoPass photos, and even mobile order at select restaurants. Should you need any further help with the process (or if any additional questions arise) feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
