Hello Andrea,
It looks like the countdown for your vacation is on; you must be so excited!
Every park provides a unique experience, and there is so much to see and do. It can be a challenge to determine where you most want to spend your time. Whichever park you choose, you'll be sure to create magical memories!
Changing reservations for a park can be done through My Disney Experience. It's a little different, depending on whether you are on the Disney website or if you are using the app on your phone. Essentially, you'll cancel your existing reservation and then make a new reservation.
Before you make any changes, be sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability. You don't want to cancel a reservation and then find out that the other parks are filled. Based on when you are traveling, I don't think that will happen, but it's always a good idea to check ahead of time.
On disneyworld.disney.go:
- Login and click on "My Disney Experience" to access the drop down menu.
- Click "My Plans"
- Under each date of your vacation, you'll see a "Disney Park Pass," indicating which park you've reserved; click the button to the far right labeled, "View Details"
- Once there, you have the option to cancel that reservation
- Now you can go back and make a new park reservation for that day.
It's very similar when using the app on your phone:
- Once in the app, click on the hamburger menu in the bottom right (the 3 stacked lines).
- Click the box labeled "Future Plans"
- Click on Disney Park Pass for the date you wish to change, and you'll see the option to cancel.
Do you have a Park Hopper Pass? If so, after 2:00 p.m. you can switch to any park without making an additional reservation.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
