Hey there, Heather! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I see that your vacation to the most magical place on earth is just a few short days away. I bet you are getting so excited.
I'm guessing that you are wanting to change your itinerary around a little bit before your trip. That is not a problem at all. To change your park pass reservations around, you'll first need to cancel your existing ones. I would work on switching them out day by day. Before cancelling any existing park pass reservation, I highly encourage you to take a look at the
theme park availability calendar. That will show you what parks are available on what days. The calendar is broken down into three categories - Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Guests who currently hold only a theme park ticket and Guests with Annual Passes. When viewing the calendar you'll want to make sure you are looking at the one that applies to you. I took a quick look at the calendar and most of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks have availability during your vacation but it does show that Disney's Hollywood Studios is already at capacity for most days. Before you cancel your theme park pass reservation in hopes of choosing a different one, looking at this calendar is a must.
If the theme park that you are wanting to switch to if available here's how to do it.
- Log into your MyDisneyExperience account
- Scroll down to the "My Plans" section
- On the day you are wishing to change parks select "View Details"
- On the next page, you'll be able to view your park pass reservation for the day and there will be a link that says, "Cancel This Reservation"
- Continue with the prompts selecting the Guests you'd like to cancel the park pass reservation for and then your day will be freed up.
After you've cancelled your park pass reservation, you can immediately then make a new selection. To do so, you'll need to visit the
park pass reservation website and choose your party, the day and the theme park you'd like to visit. It may sound like a lot of steps but I just changed around a few days myself and it took me less than 3 minutes total. It's really a simple process.
Heather, I hope this helps you change your park days around. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm always here to help.
Have fun!
