Hi Patty, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just days away now. Time for some last-minute planning!
It sounds like you have your
Disney Park Pass theme park reservations ready to go, and now you'd like to make a change for one of your pals. At the moment, Disney doesn't have a way to change an existing theme park reservation, so you'd need to cancel it and make a new one for the other park.
Before we cancel, I just want to take a look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar because those reservations have been going faster than
Lightning McQueen! You listed Saturday, May 22 as your arrival date, and according to the calendar, that week is pretty limited. Right now, Saturday and Sunday are both showing no theme parks available, while the rest of the week only has openings for
EPCOT each day. If at all possible, I recommend keeping your current Disney Park Pass reservation, because I'm afraid you won't be able to get another one if you were to cancel. At least that way, you'd still have a reservation you can use that day.
If you had your heart set on a different theme park on a certain day, you can think about adding the
Park Hopper Option to your tickets. Then on your park day, you'll need to visit the theme park where you have a reservation first, and then you can hop to the other park after 2 p.m. It may not be an ideal solution, but it can help you make the most of your Disney day!
Patty, do keep an eye on that Availability Calendar! You never know when another Guest might have a change of plans that opens up a magical opportunity for you!
I hope this helps you put the finishing touches on your plans, Patty. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
