Hi Natalie! Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
So, you're popping into the
Walt Disney World Resort for a day? So fun! Although I have difficulty only spending one day in the parks, I have definitely done it before. Sometimes it's
just the thing you need to add a little magic into your life!
To change a 1-day ticket to a different park, you would need to change the ticket type. At this time, 1-day tickets are tied to the specific park you are visiting and there may be a price difference depending upon which park you may be switching. To do this, you would need to log in to your
My Disney Experience account on a computer. Once you have done so, follow these simple steps:
- Select "My Plans" under the "My Disney Experience" option in the menu bar.
- Select "My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets."
- Click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." This is where you should be able to see all the members of your travel party and their ticket media.
- Click on "Change Ticket." Ensure you are selecting all of the names whose tickets you are planning on changing (in case you are doing this for more than just you) and press "Continue."
- Follow the prompts to change your ticket selection.
Please note that since pricing changes depending on the park you are visiting, there could be a price difference. If the price of your new ticket(s) is more expensive, you will be responsible for any additional cost. Furthermore, no refunds or credits will be given if the price of the new ticket(s) is more expensive than the old one(s).
If you should encounter any issues whatsoever, a friendly Cast Member would be happy to assist in changing your ticket(s)
by phone.
Natalie, no matter which park you choose, you are bound to have a wonderful day at the resort. They say it takes just a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down. Similarly, just a small dose of Walt Disney World can be just what the doctor ordered.
If you have any questions in the future, please feel free to
reach out.
Today is a good day to try,
Matt
