Hi Ronald,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are the official trip planner for the group. Congratulations. Clearly someone trusts your planning ability!
There are a few ways to modify your dining reservation. When I am adding people to a reservation, I usually search for a new reservation at the same time as my existing reservation. If there is space available, the system will prompt me to cancel the existing reservation before it can confirm the new reservation. If the system does not prompt you to cancel the existing reservation, do not forget to cancel it.
You can also login to
My Disney Experience, click on My Reservations and Tickets, then scroll down to find the dining reservations that you need to modify or cancel. Click on the appropriate link and then go from there. When I just logged into My Disney Experience Account, I have two links below my dining reservations. One says Change Reservation and the other says Cancel Reservation.
If you need to add people to the group and cannot modify the reservation to do so, try making a separate reservation for the additional people close to the time of the existing reservation. Try to make the new reservation within 30 minutes of the other. If you all arrive at the restaurant at the same time, explain to a cast member that you have two different reservations and ask if they can seat your parties together. Although there is no guarantee that they will be able to do so, we were able to combine groups for dinner on my last visit. Our reservation times were about 10 minutes apart.
Ronald, if you prefer to speak to a person, you can always call and speak to a cast member in Dining at 407-939-1947. Happy planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
