Welcome to planDisney Lyndsey!
Thanks for getting in touch with us, and we appreciate your patience as we assist all who are excited to join us for Walt Disney World's
50th-anniversary celebration. From
new attractions to
dazzling nighttime spectaculars to limited-edition treats, there's something magical around every corner.
Lyndsey, if you booked a
vacation package that bundles your resort stay with theme park tickets,
you are still able to modify this without incurring a change fee up until 30 days before check-in. Sometimes this can be done online (check to see if a blue "Modify" option appears next to your reservation in the "My Plans" section of
My Disney Experience, and if it does, click it, then follow the prompts), but other times it's necessary, and easier to call Disney at 407-939-5277 and a Cast Member will assist you with the change.
Keep in mind that with vacation packages, all Guests staying in the same room must have the same ticket type. Let's say that Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and their three children want to book a vacation package at
Disney's Contemporary Resort during which they plan to spend five days at the theme parks. All five of them must have 5-day tickets; if Mrs. Incredible wants to take a day off to relax by the pool, she'll still have to purchase a 5-day ticket as part of the package with the rest of her family.
I hope this is helpful, Lyndsey! If some members of your party want or need a different ticket type than the others, it might be better to book a room-only reservation and
purchase theme park admission separately. Best of luck creating the perfect vacation for your family, and we look forward to seeing you real soon!
