Is there a way to change the number of guests on a dining reservation? I booked several of my reservations for 4 people but now need for them to be 2 people. It looks like I have to cancel and rebook but I don't want to lose the reservations I have.

    Hi there Tammy,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about Advanced Dining Reservations.  Your visit is coming up shortly and with the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration and the Holiday Season, there is so much to see and do!

In order to modify an existing reservation, login to your My Disney Experience Account either online or using the My Disney Experience Mobile App.  In "My Plans" scroll down to the first reservation you would like to change and there should be an option that says "change reservation".  Click on the button and you will be brought to the Advanced Dining Reservation system where you will need to re-enter your information such as the date, time and number of guests.  It looks like you are searching for a new reservation, however your old reservation is still there until you confirm the new reservation.  Since you already have a reservation, it will be much easier to remove guests rather than adding.  If by chance you are unable to modify on line or using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, where you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, head to the concierge at your Resort and a Cast Member will be able to assist with your request.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Tammy.  If you have any other questions, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
