Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen! Thanks for visiting with your question about
the new online vacation planning portal. The changes are sure to make your park experience better!
With the new date-based pricing, any new tickets that you buy from will have their own expirations, restrictions and so forth, made clear when you purchase the ticket. I’m happy to say that any tickets you’ve previously purchased will retain any parameters, expirations, etc. set forth when they were purchased. Nothing will change those! I have two
Park Hopper tickets that are unused in
My Disney Experience, and they will not be affected by the new system. I can go move forward planning my winter vacation without needing to note anything new. Keep in mind that the longer you stay, the less expensive it is to play! Multi-day tickets are cheaper in the day-to-day breakdown and allow you to get more bang for your buck! And speaking of bang, be sure to stay late in Magic Kingdom and experience the new
Happily Ever After Fireworks Show. You won’t believe your eyes with all the color and character it offers.
If I can help you further with your vacation planning, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
