Hi Oscar! Welcome to planDisney!
It looks like you're in for a dream come true as you are just days away from your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! I speak from experience when I say that the magic of the Disneyland Resort is alive and well. Not only will you see your favorite characters galavanting around the parks and resorts, but you're now able to take photos up close with Mickey and the whole cast of characters during your visit. So smile wide, get ready for a big hug and pack your autograph book! If you want to see as many characters as possible in one location, check into the possibility of a
Character Dining experience! Nothing can brighten your day like flipping pancakes with Goofy at
Goofy's Kitchen or curtseying with royalty at
Napa Rose!
More great news coming at ya, Oscar! You do not have to change the name on your
theme park tickets as long as the Guest who is using the ticket is the same age that you specified upon purchase. Put simply, you're good to go as long as an adult uses an adult ticket or a child uses a child ticket. When you arrive at the parks that day, you'll enter through the turnstiles, where a friendly Cast Member will snap a photo, assigning the scanned ticket to you for the entirety of your trip. As long as each Guest continues to use the ticket that was scanned and assigned to them, you'll have no problem getting down to business!
Some Guests do find it easier for the ticket name to match the Guest who uses it. If you fall into this category, I can't blame you for the organization! A Cast Member at
Ticket Services will serve as your Fairy Godparent for this task. Give them a call and they'll be able to change whichever names you'd like!
Oscar, I'm wishing you the happiest vacation with many pixie-dusted memories this weekend!
Ka-Chow!
Ashley
