Greetings, Ruben!
Welcome to planDisney! I see that you're hard at work making plans for your visit to
The Happiest Place On Earth next month. I’m so glad to have a chance to help you make sure that your visit runs smoothly and magically as you hope it will!
Ruben, if you are referring to changing the name on your
theme park reservations, the names on these reservations are typically not checked or verified. When you arrive at the park, you’ll scan your
theme park tickets and have your photo taken at the entrance gate. This way, if you ever need to change the names on your theme park reservation, you can do so without any issues because they are already linked to your tickets.
I recommend that you cancel your current reservation and make a new one with the correct names. This will ensure that everything is up-to-date and that there is no confusion or issues with your tickets. Make sure that the dates you plan to visit are still available before you cancel, and when you make your new reservation be sure to double-check that all of the information is accurate. In general, names on Disneyland theme park reservations should not be a cause for concern. As long as you have your tickets and can identify yourself at the park, you should have no issues. If you do need to make changes to your reservation, canceling and making a new one is the best way to ensure that everything is in order.
Now Ruben, if you were referring to
dining reservations, then you’re in luck. For most people, having a correct name on a reservation isn’t an issue. It is unlikely that any ID will be checked when you arrive at your dining location (however, there may be instances where ID checks are necessary, such as when the restaurant has a policy of verifying the age of diners for alcohol service).
I hope I answered your question about changing the names on your reservations, Ruben. If I misunderstood you, or if you still have any follow-up questions, please feel free to
message me back. You can also chat with a cast member on the
Disneyland Mobile App, or reach out to
Disneyland customer service over the phone. We’re all here to help!
You've got a friend in me,
