Hello, Jim!
I hope you are getting excited as you prepare for your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort. Those of us with planDisney are happy to help offer information and support as you get ready to head to The Happiest Place on Earth!
To make changes to names assigned to
theme park tickets, you’ll need to place a call to the
Tickets phone line. Or you may initiate a chat in the
Disneyland mobile app. If things don’t happen to get sorted out prior to your visit, you can also cross out the name on the name that is printed on the ticket at the park entrance and write the name of the Guest using that ticket to help keep track of who is using it. You’ll need to make sure that the first Guest to use a specific ticket is the same Guest using it throughout your visit. That way, the photo of the Guest attached to the ticket will match. If you happen to be using promotional tickets such as the
Southern California Residents 3-Day, Weekday Ticket, you will still need to make sure that the Guest using the ticket has appropriate government-issued photo ID and proof of residency.
Tony’s Tip: Most theme park tickets include a four-digit number with the Guest's name in the Disneyland mobile app. That number will match the last four digits of the ticket that is printed out at the turnstiles. You can also use those numbers to keep track of who is using which tickets. That comes in handy to figure out who should carry which ticket if your party happens to separate into smaller groups to enjoy different attractions with
Lightning Lanes or other activities. Note that the number of an unused
Disney eTicket will likely change to a new number once the ticket is activated and used for the first time. So you can check ticket numbers again after scanning into the park for the first time.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jim. If you have any other questions, please stop by planDisney again!
