How do I change the name on a ticket that I have made a Disneyland reservation for?

It’s a small world after all, Kenneth, and I’m so glad you found your way to planDisney!

I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians, so let’s get started! I’m happy to report that you won’t need to worry about changing the name on the theme park ticket prior to your visit, since Disneyland Resort tickets aren’t actually assigned to a specific person until each ticket is scanned at the front entrance turnstiles. As soon as each Guest in your group is scanned in, the Cast Member will take a picture to assign each specific ticket to a particular Guest. At that point, the ticket can’t be transferred to anyone else. If you have any additional questions, you can also call (714) 781-4636 for more ticketing help.

As you prepare for your visit, I highly recommend downloading the Disneyland app – it’s my favorite handy helper in the theme parks! I use it to mobile order food and drinks, check attraction wait times, make dining reservations, and utilize Disney Genie+ Service.

If you have any additional questions as your trip gets closer, please stop by planDisney again… we’re all EARs!

    Wishing you magic,
