Hiya, Traci!
Ooh! An exciting adventure to the Disneyland Resort with your little Mouseketeer sounds practically perfect in every way! Thanks for visiting the planDisney Panel so we can help with the preparations for your journey.
The good news is you don’t have to worry about the name on your child’s ticket if you don’t want to. But if you still want to update the name, you can make a phone call to a Cast Member with the
Tickets phone line. The linked names are particularly useful for keeping track of who is using which ticket when you use the
Disneyland mobile app to show your tickets at the park entrances or when you check in at a
Lightning Lane queue. But Cast Members won’t need to verify the names of the ticket users. Instead, a photograph is taken of each Guest when a ticket is first activated. That photo will then pop up on park entrance terminals to display the valid user for that ticket when re-entering into a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.” So remembering who is using which ticket is really only important if you plan on splitting up during your visit.
Tony’s Tip: When you first activate your
Disney eTicket, you will also be given a printed ticket card. If you’d like, you may write your names on that printed card to help you keep track of who is using which ticket. The ticket IDs printed on the card will also match the IDs displayed on the “Tickets and Passes” screen of the Disneyland app. And it is OK to use either the mobile app or the printed ticket cards at park entrances and Lightning Lane queues.
I hope you and your party have a magical time, Traci! If you have any more questions, we’re happy to help here at planDisney.
See ya’ real soon!
