Llyn from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How do I change a name on a ticket? My daughter will be bringing a different friend than the name I originally listed.

Hi there, Llyn! Welcome to planDisney. With just one sleep until your magical day at the Happiest Place on Earth, let's get right to your question!

I have some good news for you! While tickets are technically not transferable, they are not officially assigned until they are scanned at the Main Entrance Gate. You do not need to make any name changes ahead of time. At the gate, a Cast Member will take a photo of the Guest which will pop up each time that particular ticket is scanned. Hopefully, now you can rest easy and get a good night's sleep dreaming of all the magic-making ahead!

What a week to be visiting the parks! If you're like me and love the nostalgia and splendor of Disney nighttime spectaculars, you are in luck! No matter where you find yourself come nightfall, magic will be igniting the night once again with World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park and the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland Park. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the parade even has a brand new finale float that you just will not want to miss. Definitely take a look at the Foodie Guide and map out a few sweet treats ahead of time - there are so many electric-inspired tasty bites to choose from. You might even want to try to snag the coveted Light-Up Elliot Dragon Popcorn Bucket so you can feel like your own float in the parade!

With Park Hopper tickets and a little savvy park planning, you may be able to catch both World of Color and the Main Street Electrical Parade in one night! I like to take a look at the Entertainment Schedule ahead of time to plan my days around any must-sees and dos. Both spectaculars have two performances, so if you're quick on your feet, a night full of magical storytelling and sparkling lights is yours! To view the Main Street Electrical Parade, just grab a seat along the parade route from the top of Main Street, U.S.A. to "it's a small world". Viewing World of Color takes a bit more pre-planning as it is accessible via a virtual queue. The queue opens up at noon each day for Guests who have scanned into either park with a Park Hopper Ticket or into Disney California Adventure Park with a One Park Per Day Ticket. I have heard that spots in the queue have been going quickly since the show debuted last week, so be at the ready with World of Color pulled up in your My Disneyland Mobile App and refresh right as the clock strikes noon.

Llyn, I sure hope you and your family and friends have a magical day tomorrow! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
