Welcome to planDisney, Emily!
I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your question. There's so much happening at the Disneyland Resort to celebrate
100 Years of Disney. I'm really excited about the new nighttime spectaculars,
Wondrous Journeys at Disneyland Park and
World of Color - ONE at Disney's California Adventure Park. There's also the
"Magic Happens" Parade and the newly opened
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. Oh, boy! I just want to hop on a magic carpet and fly over there, right now. I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful time.
To change the names on
Disneyland tickets, you can call the
Tickets services phone line and speak to a Cast Member. They can then wave their magic wand and *poof* a new name will appear on that ticket. However, for most theme park tickets, you might be pleased to know that the name on the ticket doesn't have to match the person actually using the ticket. The important thing is for the person who first uses the ticket to remain the same throughout your visit. Here's what happens: When you enter your first theme park, a Cast Member will take a photo of each person when they first use their ticket. After that, whenever you enter a theme park, they'll use the photo to ensure it's the same person using it. So it's really up to you.
I hope that's clarifying, Emily. Have a magical time.
Mike
