Hi there, Teresa! Greetings from everyone here at planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and asking your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!
One of my favorite perks of booking a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is the flexibility it provides! Within some parameters, you can alter most aspects of your vacation if the need arises!
In the case of changing a theme park ticket,
you may reassign your ticket to another Guest as long as it has not yet been used. In order to do this, you will need to first log into your
My Disney Experience account and navigate to the “My Reservations” page. From here, you will need to locate the theme park ticket you would like to reassign and select the “Reassign Ticket” link that should be present to the right of the ticket. You may reassign your theme park ticket to another person as long as they are on your Family and Friends list. If they are not, you will need to add them to continue with this process!
Once you have reassigned your tickets, be sure to keep in mind that Guests will need a reservation prior to visiting the four theme parks! Reservations may be made through the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as a theme park ticket has been connected to your account. It is also highly recommended that you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online before booking your stay to verify that there is availability during your tentative travel dates!
If you’d like to stay up-to-date on any other changes at Walt Disney World Resort, I would recommend checking out the
“Know Before You Go” webpage! This is a great resource for reading up on any updates that may impact your future visits!
Best of luck as you continue to plan your future visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
