Hello and welcome to planDisney, Breanna. We’re so glad you’re here to share this question with us. It sounds like a visit to the Disneyland Resort is in the works and I’m delighted to help you prepare.
Hakuna matata, Breanna. It means no worries, and there are no worries about having the wrong name on a theme park ticket. In fact, the name doesn’t have to match the person using the ticket, as each person’s picture will be taken at the entrance gate and that photo will be used to match each ticket to each person. Names on tickets are typically helpful for keeping everything organized in the
Disneyland app. In fact, I once accidentally typed my name on my husband’s ticket. We didn’t change anything and he didn’t have any issues. However, if you’d feel more comfortable changing the name, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the
phone line for Tickets for assistance.
It’s a fantastic time for a Disneyland visit. I’m pumped about
Disney California Adventure Park celebrating its 25th anniversary! I can’t wait to see Mickey and Minnie in their celebratory fits during my next visit - so cute. If you don’t catch them while they’re in these fun outfits for a limited time, you can still celebrate by taking a flight on
Soarin’ Over California. This is my favorite flight path for this attraction and I can already smell the orange groves.
Breanna, I hope this has been helpful and puts your mind at ease. If you have any other questions, please come back to visit us. Until then, here’s wishing you a magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
