Hello, Kalena,
“
Oh, bother.” I’m sorry to hear that one of your party won’t be able to join you on your visit to the Disneyland Resort. But I’m glad that you have found another to take their place on your journey into a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy.”
The names linked to your
theme park tickets are useful to help keep track of who is using which ticket. It’s especially helpful for any times when you might have members of your group split up to do different activities. For example, you may use the
Disney Genie+ service to book a
Lightning Lane return time for part of your group to experience
Space Mountain and another return time for a different part of your group to enjoy “
it’s a small world.” The names linked to the tickets will help you to assign the right members of your party to the return times selected in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Names linked to theme park tickets may be modified by calling the
Tickets phone line. If, by chance, you don’t get an opportunity to place that call, no worries. The Cast Member at the park entrance helping you to activate your tickets will take a photo of each Guest. Each Guest’s photo will be digitally linked to the ticket they are using. So even if the name doesn’t match the Guest, the photo will still serve to verify the individual assigned to the ticket. If there is only one Guest using a ticket with a name other than their own, it won’t be too challenging to keep track of who is using which ticket.
I hope you and your whole party have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Kalena!
