Hi Mike,
Thank you for stopping by with a great question! This is an interesting dilemma and I think I have a digital solution.
When we purchase tickets, we actually assign those tickets to family or friends in our
Family & Friends List in
My Disney Experience. In My Family & Friends List, you may have folks whose plans you manage and those that you do not. The folks whose plans you do not manage have their own My Disney Experience accounts.
My suggestion would be to log into My Disney Experience. If the misspelled name is for someone whose plans you manage, you should be able to update that name. Find the name in your My Family & Friends List and click the link to update. Once you click Update, just edit the name. If the Guest is someone who has their own My Disney Experience Account, then that person would need to update their profile to correct the spelling.
Given the dates of your visit, I do hope you are getting ready to make
advanced dining reservations! I cannot stress enough the importance of having advanced dining reservations. On our last visit, we were so happy that we made so many. It made our dining experiences stress free. Although we did use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering a few times, we preferred having dining reservations. It was super easy to check-in using
Mobile Dine Check-in with the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Mike, I also trust that you made
Disney Park Pass system reservations. If not, do so as soon as possible! If you decide that you would like to change park pass reservations prior to your trip, remember to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar before cancelling any park passes and trying to make new reservations. In the meantime, carry on with packing. We are so excited to welcome you for an
Incredible Disney visit!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
