Hi there, Neesha!
Thanks for your question. It’s an honor to help out a fellow Guest.
For this particular issue, you need not worry. This is something that happens frequently. Whether you have the same name attached to two tickets or one of the members of your party can no longer attend with you, it’s OK. This happened to us a few years ago when one member of our party was unable to go at the last minute. Since the ticket was wholly unused, we were able to give the ticket to a friend who could go to the theme park instead. Even though the wrong name was on the ticket, there was no problem.
You see, the name on your
theme park tickets is a helpful aid in keeping the tickets organized. As long as you can keep track of who uses which ticket, you’ll be able to make sure the right Guests have the ticket they need when re-entering a theme park or when redeeming a
Lightning Lane return time.
Tony’s Tip: If keeping track of who uses which ticket isn’t straightforward within the
Disneyland app, you may choose to use the printed ticket cards handed to you when you first redeem your
Disney eTickets at a theme park entrance. There is a place on the ticket card to write down the name of the Guest using that ticket. Also, the number on the printed ticket card will match the number on the ticket in the Disneyland app.
I hope that helps ease your mind a bit on the subject, Neesha. I’d rather you feel relaxed and have a smile on your face when you visit The Happiest Place on Earth. Should you think of any more questions about your visit to the Disneyland Resort, please come visit us again at planDisney.
