Hi there, Deshaun,
Thanks for coming to planDisney with your Disneyland Resort questions. It’s helpful to get these sorts of things squared away as you get ready to visit The Happiest Place on Earth!
One of the more important things about using Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets is that once they are activated by using them to enter a theme park, they become nontransferable. From that point on, only the Guest who first uses a ticket and has their
photo digitally attached to it at the park entrance may use it again for park re-entry or
Lightning Lane redemption afterward. Therefore, a relatively minor thing such as a typo in the name linked to a ticket usually won’t matter.
Whether for convenience in remembering which ticket belongs to whom in your party or to ensure that the name linked to a promotional ticket such as the current
2025 Southern California Resident Ticket offer matches the government-issued ID used to verify residency, it can still make sense to change the name associated with
tickets stored in your My Disneyland account. To request such changes, you will want to call the
Tickets phone support number or chat with a Cast Member using the “Chat with Us” feature in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Are you planning to visit the Disneyland Resort by February 16th this year, Deshaun? If so, I hope you don’t miss the
Lunar New Year celebration currently going on in
Disney California Adventure Park and other locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. My family and I are enjoying the festival now. We think it’s the best one yet! Our favorite food items from the
Lunar New Year Marketplaces so far are the Fire Chicken Wings from Red Dragon Spice Traders and the Quesabirria Eggroll and Chocolate Firecracker from Lucky 8 Lantern.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Deshaun. Please let us know if there is more we can do to help out here at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
