How do I change the name on a ticket/reservation?

Welcome to planDisney, Lisa. We’re so glad you’re here!

I’m excited to hear that you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! Lots of people (myself included!) are beyond ecstatic that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have finally reopened their gates to California residents (during this initial phased reopening) after being closed for over a year! It’s so nice to see Cast Members back at the theme parks making Magic happen.

Lisa, while you are can’t change the name on theme park tickets by yourself, you can definitely do so with some wand-waving from a Cast Member. To reassign a Theme Park ticket, simply call Disneyland Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and a friendly Cast Member will gladly help you. Since we are encountering high call volume, your patience is greatly appreciated as Cast Members are working diligently to ensure you and all Guests have the best experience. You’ll be on your merry way to enjoying the Disneyland Resort theme parks in no time! Once the name on your ticket is changed, don’t forget to make a park reservation by checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar.

Be sure to check out and Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news. Also, did you know that planDisney Panelists are on Instagram? We have great tips and advice, as well as recent highlight reels of Disneyland Resort theme parks’ reopening day!

Lisa, please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have additional questions. We’re all EARS!

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
