Hey Howdy Hey Judy and welcome to planDisney!
A vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is perfect for families. Disney has done so much to keep everyone together while also giving them the flexibility to do their own thing while keeping everyone linked through the
My Disney Experience app. With some Guests, this can get a little tricky if you are the only one who can manage certain profiles. Let's go over how to share the experience of managing profiles, especially with kids.
Creating profiles for Guests under 13 requires an adult to manage their profiles. You are the one who can make plans for this Guest as well as tickets and all the details available through the app. You can share this responsibility with others on your "Family & Friends List" through your
My Disney Experience profile. Once you log in, go to "My Family & Friends" which will bring up everyone you are currently connected to. For any adult, you can hit the "Edit Settings" button next to their name. Then, select the option to "Allow (Guest name) to make plans for your managed profiles. Once selected, the Guest you gave this access to will have to acknowledge this update and then they can manage their profiles just as you can.
After you go through these steps, you should have an equal share of the profile to manage. You both can manage tickets, reservations, Lightning Lane selections and so much more. While technology is great, at times this may not work entirely seamlessly as it should, so feel free to
give Disney a call if you are still having issues. A Cast Member will be more than helpful to help you set this up.
I hope you all have a great time on your upcoming vacation. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
