Has a change been made to the # of people you are allowed to have in the value/moderate hotels on property? I have a family of 5. Three kids ages 13,9,6 plus my husband and myself. I was looking at availability & had trouble finding hotels to house u

    Hi there, Gretchen!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm more than happy to help!

Most of the rooms in the Value Resort Hotels sleep four people. If there is a child under the age of 3, he or she does not count towards the total number of occupants in the room. So technically a family of five could stay in one of these resorts if one of the children is that young. Don't worry though! There are plenty of accommodations for a family of five. In the Moderate Resort category, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside all have rooms that sleep five people. These rooms have two queen-size beds and a bunk-size pull-down bed. There are also several other options to choose from so hopefully you will find something that fits both your family's needs AND budget.

Please feel free to stop back by if we can answer any other questions for you. I sure hope you are able to find what you're looking for so you can get your Disney vacation booked!

    Happy planning!
