I would like to change my hotel reservation if possible at the animal kingdom. How can I do this.

Hey Howdy Hey David and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about modifying your reservations for your upcoming vacation. Let's get right to it and go over how to get this done!

If you have a vacation package booked with Disney, this typically includes a stay at a Disney Resorts Hotel and theme park tickets, this works a bit differently than a room-only reservation. When you get within your 30-day mark and you have made your final payment, the usual way to make changes to your reservation would be to call Disney and let them know of your changes. A Cast Member will be happy to review your reservation and make any changes you need pending availability. One thing to keep in mind is that changes made to reservations inside the 30-day mark are subject to a change fee, which is currently set at $50 but may change without notice. Depending on the extent of changes, this may be applicable but is not in all instances.

You should be able to make changes to a room-only reservation on your My Disney Experience account. Final payments are due at the time of check-in and any reservation can be canceled with a full refund if made more than 4 days from your arrival date. To change your reservation, you will log onto your account, look for your reservation under "My Plans, Reservation and Tickets" and click on the blue hyperlink to "Modify Reservation" to the right. You can also call Disney and have a Cast Member help you as well.

I hope this information is helpful so you can get your reservation squared away. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    To Infinity and Beyond,
