I am so glad you stopped by with this question. Travel plans often have a way of changing, and adjusting your hotel reservation can be done in a few easy steps. Let's go over all you need to know about updating your hotel dates, so you can get back to planning the best trip ever!
Kristin, to get started,
head on over to the Walt Disney World website. Click on the
My Disney Experience tab located at the top right side of the screen. Scroll down to your Disney Resort reservation, and you should see a
Change Reservation option to the left of your hotel details. Open this link and locate the
Travel Date section. There will also be a
Change option next to this information. Use this link to choose your new dates and follow the remaining prompts to make it official! You can also choose to
call Tickets and Hotel Reservations to update your plans.
There are a few important notes to keep in mind as you make your changes. Reservations can only be updated on the website, and not through the
My Disney Experience app. Changes to Disney Vacation packages less than 30 days prior to arrival
may have a change fee, and you will need to call to move your dates. Promotional offerings are subject to availability, and occasionally new travel dates may not be part of any current promotions you booked. If this is the case, your hotel may not show openings, and you could have to change your offer to rebook. This can also be done on the same page you would use to change travel dates. And finally, if you booked your stay with a travel professional, they will need to make any changes on your behalf. I hope these tips help you get your travel plans updated!
