Welcome to planDisney Beth, and thanks for your question! It sounds like you're getting everything set for a magical visit, and making sure everyone is set up just right in My Disney Experience is a smart step. I’d be happy to help you with transferring those managed profiles to your nephew so he can take over planning for his family.
First, I would suggest that your nephew create his own
My Disney Experience account, if he hasn't already, then adding him to your
Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to his on his own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party. Your nephew will be able to see all plans including Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets and Lightning Lane Selections.
Once he does, go into your Family & Friends list in the app or on the website. Find the profiles for his kids (the ones you currently manage) and click “Update” next to their names. You should see an option that says “Share Planning with [Guest’s Name]” or “Invite to Connect.” When you choose this, you’ll enter the email address your nephew used for his My Disney Experience account.
After he accepts the invitation to connect, the profiles you managed for his kids will transfer over to him, and he’ll be able to make plans, view tickets, and manage everything for them. Again, you’ll still be able to see and share plans since you're all connected through your Family & Friends list, just without needing to manage their accounts directly.
If you don’t see the option to share planning, or if the profiles are very new, you might need to
call the My Disney Experience tech team or visit Guest Relations in person to request the change.
I hope this helps you get everything set up smoothly in My Disney Experience so you and your family can focus on the fun and magic ahead! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and I hope your upcoming trip is filled with unforgettable moments and plenty of pixie dust!
