Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Lizzie! Thank you so much for stopping by. It’s always great to hear from a fellow Guest from the UK! I love helping others plan their perfect Disney holiday, and it looks like you're getting ready for a trip to
Disneyland Paris in 2026. What an exciting time to visit, as Walt Disney Studios Park continues its multi-year transformation into
Disney Adventure World.
With this change comes a huge expansion to the park, including the opening of Adventure Way, which will feature a family-friendly Rapunzel spinning attraction. This new area will lead to Adventure Bay, a large lagoon set to host a brand-new nighttime spectacular. Around the lagoon, you’ll be able to explore the World of Frozen – home to the new Frozen Ever After attraction. You can find full details and updates over on the
Disney Parks Blog.
Lizzie, while we don’t yet have a confirmed opening date, we do know it will be sometime in 2026. The good news is that the latest sneak peeks on the Disneyland Paris social channels show the expansion progressing at a good pace.
Did you know that
Hotel + Ticket Packages can currently be cancelled with no penalty up to 7 days before your arrival date? With that flexibility, you could book now, and if the opening of Disney Adventure World is a deal breaker for you, you’ll have the option to cancel and reschedule closer to the time.
My top tip is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as any official announcements will be posted there first. I’ve got my fingers crossed for some big news next month at
Destination D23, the biggest Disney fan event of the year, taking place from 29th to 31st August at Walt Disney World. But that may just be me being hopeful!
Although I haven’t been able to answer your question fully just yet, I hope this helps you start putting plans in place for your trip next year. If you have any more questions, please
reach out to me. I’d love to help.
See you on Main Street, Paris!
Matt
