Hey Howdy Hey Susan and welcome to planDisney!
Planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort can be a wild ride! Trying to figure out which resorts to stay at, which parks to visit on which days, setting up your "Must-Do" attraction list and don't get me started on dining locations! There are a lot of things that can be refunded or changed after your purchase but not everything. So let's discuss what we can do about this ticket.
With the purchase of
Theme Park tickets to Walt Disney World, unfortunately, they are nonrefundable and nontransferable. But you do have a grand opportunity here. You can elect to still visit two of the parks with your next visit or you can change the date of usage of your second day to a day in the future. All tickets have expiration dates on them, so you can have that ticket reserved for a later day closer to the expiration date or at another time you will be in Florida for a quick visit to one of our Theme Parks.
To change the date of the ticket, you will log onto your
My Disney Experience account and scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". You should see a heading under this section titled "Tickets & Memory Maker". Click on that and you will see your tickets listed. You can choose "ChangenTickets" and change the date of usage of the second ticket there.
The other thing you can do is have the amount paid for your second ticket applied to another ticket at a date in the future that is past your expiration date. So if you knew were coming back in 2023, you can have this amount applied to a ticket for that time. You would get this done by
calling Disney at (407) 934-7639 and speaking to a Cast Member about this change.
I know this might not be what you wanted to hear, but I hope you have some options to still utilize the ticket and the opportunity to visit us again in the Most Magical Place on Earth. Let us know if you have any further questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
