Hi Thomas and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad to help you get some answers so you can continue planning your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort.
How exciting to hear that you may get to spend more time in the 'Happiest Place on Earth!' As you may know, Disneyland Resort is celebrating the centennial anniversary of the Walt Disney Company with the
Disney100 Celebration - Where Wonder Comes to Life! This means there are even more exciting offerings to enjoy throughout the resort and even more reasons to extend your visit!
Now, I'm happy to report that you may opt to upgrade your ticket in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth at Disneyland Resort. There is currently no option to do so online or through the Disneyland mobile app. I also want to mention that upgrading your ticket type will cancel any existing
theme park reservations tied to the original ticket. For this reason, I highly suggest that you review the
theme park availability for your intended visit dates because you will need to make new park reservations upon completion of the new 2-day park ticket purchase. If you have specific questions about this process, you can reach out to a Cast Member in
Ticket Services.
I hope these few suggestions help you on your way to enjoying even more magic during your upcoming visit, Thomas. Now that you're considering two days in the Disneyland Resort theme parks, I hope you'll be able to view both of the new nighttime spectaculars:
Wondrous Journeys in Disneyland Park and
World of Color - ONE in Disney California Adventure Park. They are both unique and memorable experiences that are perfect for celebrating Disney storytelling at its finest! If we can lend any other advice or recommendations, please stop by
planDisney again soon!
Have a magical visit,
Tishra
