Welcome to planDisney, Cassie!
Thanks for stopping by to talk about your upcoming
Walt Disney World adventure. I'd be happy to review theme park admission guidelines today. Let's get going!
While
Walt Disney World theme park tickets can be upgraded to include more days or options, they can't be reduced to fewer days. For instance, a three-day ticket can't be changed to a two-day one. I know this is different from what you hoped to hear, but I have a suggestion that might work for you.
Walt Disney World tickets always retain their value; if you have a short trip this month and are sure you will only visit the parks for two days, consider purchasing new two-day tickets. Then, save the three-day passes for a future vacation. They might disappear from view in My Disney Experience, but Hakuna Matata! No worries. Just call the Walt Disney World
existing tickets line, and a friendly Cast Member will help you upgrade them so they're valid for a new trip.
I hope this is helpful, Cassie! If you decide to use the tickets you already have, you'll enjoy an extra Disney day, which sounds lovely to me. I just returned from Walt Disney World, and the theme parks and resorts are already starting to sparkle in their holiday finest. Best wishes for a very merry visit, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" soon.
Happy holidays,
Betsy
