Welcome to planDisney, Debbie!
Thanks for visiting us today. I’m Shantel, and I am more than happy to talk about all things Disney with you! Let’s begin with reviewing the
theme park admission guidelines.
Walt Disney World theme park tickets can be upgraded to include more days or more options. Unfortunately, they cannot be reduced to fewer days. I’m sure this isn’t what you hoped to hear, but my fellow panelist, Betsy, has an excellent recommendation for you.
She reminded me that Walt Disney World tickets always retain their value. So if you have a shorter trip in mind, you can purchase a
new theme park ticket for that visit and save the 6-day ticket for a future vacation. Keep in mind, the ticket might disappear from the view in My Disney Experience, but just give the Walt Disney World
existing tickets line a call, and a Cast Member there will help you upgrade them so they are valid for a new trip.
Of course, you can always stick to your original plan and keep your upcoming 6-day visit. More days at Disney are always my number one recommendation. In fact, I just added another day to my upcoming visit. That’s my weakness, I always extend! What can I say, a day at Disney is better than a day anywhere else.
Debbie, I hope you can stick to your original six-day visit. I also hope this helps answer your question. If there’s anything else that comes to mind, please be sure to send us
another message.
Magical Memories,
Shantel
