Hey Howdy Hey Chris and welcome to planDisney fellow Buckeye!
Trips to the Walt Disney World Resort can be months if not years in the making. Inevitably, we have dates that we think will work the schedules and timing and of course, life happens and things change. If you need to change your theme park tickets for your upcoming trip, let's talk about your options.
Theme park tickets to the Walt Disney World Resort are nonrefundable. In most cases, these tickets are also date-based when you buy them online. These tickets are priced typically for specific times of the year and will vary based on the time of the year and the day of the week you want your tickets to be valid.
All that being said, you cannot change the dates of your tickets online however you can have the amount you paid for your tickets applied to the purchase of tickets with new validation dates. You will have to
give Disney a call and let them know what you are interested in doing. They will be able to rebook your tickets with a new validation period based on your new dates of travel. Just know that if there is a price difference, you will be responsible for this cost.
I hope that makes sense as changing the dates of your tickets can be an option but comes with a little more of a process. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
