Luis from Ciudad de Mexico Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can I change the date of visit? I already got my tickets

    Hello, Luis!

I hope you are planning on visiting sooner than later. I’d hate for you to have to delay your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth any longer. But, either way, I’m glad you are at least continuing to visit the Disneyland Resort soon.

Yes, a theme park reservation that has already been booked and linked to a purchased theme park ticket can be canceled and a new reservation can be booked. If you booked a Disneyland Resort vacation through a travel agency, your agent can help make that change. Or if you purchased your tickets on your own, you may visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" page to cancel an existing reservation. Then return to that page to book a new reservation for another valid and available date. Your theme park ticket will remain linked to your account as long as it is valid.

Some things to note about changing theme park reservations include:

    • Tickets may have a linked theme park reservation canceled and rebooked for as long as the ticket is valid. See the expiration date noted when the ticket was purchased. Multi-day tickets will expire on the noted expiration date or 13 days after the first use, whichever is first.
    • One-day tickets are purchased based on a tiering system. These tickets may be used on an available date of the same or lower tier as the ticket. To use the ticket on a higher-tier date, visit the ticket booths to upgrade the ticket.
    • The number of reservations for a given date is limited. So booking as soon as possible is recommended. If a certain date has run out of reservations and other available dates don’t work for you, you may keep checking the reservation system. You never know when another Guest will cancel their reservation to free it up for you.
    • Guests of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels have a separate pool of park reservations that may be available as well.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Luis. You’re going to love all the new experiences available!

    See ya’ real soon!

    ~Tony
