Can you change the date of your ticket for Very Merry Christmas once purchaced? Tanya

    Hi Tanya!

Once you purchase tickets for any of the Disney special event parties they are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Special Event Tickets are selected and sold for specific dates and it lets Disney know how many guests will likely be a part of each of those evenings. Many dates will sell out closer to the actual time so if you are interested it is best to purchase ahead of time.

When you do this you also take a risk that something might come up that does not allow you to be able to enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on the date you initially chose. You can call Guest Services (407-939-5277) or if you are in the parks ahead of that date, stop by a Guest Relations window at the parks or Disney Springs. You can make a request to transfer to a different date but it is simply at their discretion. I can assure you that if an exception is made it is a one time only event. In the past they have been fairly strict on this policy.

Being from Florida you might perhaps be able to find someone local who would love to purchase the tickets from you for the night you are unable to attend. I hope it works out that you can find a time to enjoy this spectacular holiday event this year. I have not bought my own tickets yet and will be picking out a date soon as I need that holiday pixie dust and magic again!
