Can I change a date on my Socal Disney ticket after May 26,2022 if im not able to make it due to an emergency?

Welcome to planDisney, Natale! You've asked a great question about Southern California Resident Tickets (more affectionately known as SoCal tickets). I am happy to provide you with some options.

Mickey and I are sorry to hear that you may need to postpone your upcoming visit. While you are welcome to cancel and rebook your theme park reservation, it must be before the tickets' expiration date on May 26; when I called Disneyland Ticketing today, they said no exceptions can be made, unfortunately.

However, I do have a solution! As long as you have at least one remaining day left, you can upgrade your SoCal tickets to a Magic Key Pass. Currently, only the Imagine Key Pass is available for Southern CA residents, or the Enchant Key Pass is open to anyone. You can use the value you originally paid for your SoCal tickets and apply that toward the downpayment of the Magic Key that you choose. If you decide to go with the monthly payment plan, the remaining balance will be divided into equal payments. The start date of your Magic Key will be the same day that you first used your SoCal tickets to enter the parks, and it will expire one year after that. This upgrade can easily be done through your Disneyland Mobile App or by calling Disneyland Ticketing at (714) 781-4636.

I hope this helps, Natale! The planDisney team hopes to see you at the Happiest Place on Earth real soon!
