Hey there, Katie. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for dropping in to share this question with us. Hooray! It sounds like you are planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort and I'm thrilled to help out. I love the flexibility that is built into theme park tickets, so let's take a look.
A valid theme park ticket and
theme park reservation are required to enter both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Plans can often change, but there's no need to worry, you can absolutely change the date of your park visit should you need to. For wholly unused theme park tickets, you can modify your theme park reservation at the Disneyland site.
Go to "Ticket and Reservation Details" under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right of the page. Next, click the button to modify your theme park reservation. Find the reservation that you would like to modify and click the link to "Modify Reservation." You will see any dates that are available for you to reschedule your visit and you will also have the option to change the park you'd like to visit (or your starting park for a park hopper ticket). If you are trying to change the date for a
multi-day ticket that has been partially used, you can reschedule for a date within 13 days after first use.
It's an especially great time to visit with the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort just around the corner! It's still spooky season, but in less than a couple of weeks all of the pumpkins will turn into tinsel and lights. There will be snow and icicles on Sleeping Beauty Castle and the forecast is definitely calling for snow on Main Street, U.S.A. It's one of my favorite times of the year to visit and I can't wait!
I hope this helps as you are planning for your magical visit, Katie. Let us know if we can help with anything else as you plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
