Hey there, Alicia, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. Olaf said it best when he stated "Things have done nothing but change." I think Walt Disney World learned from this Olaf lesson because their flexible policies help Guests quickly navigate changing circumstances. So the quick answer to your question is: yes!
Alicia, if you purchased your Theme Park tickets as part of a
Disney Vacation Package (including tickets and a stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay) you will have to modify your reservation to edit your tickets. To do this, log in to your
My Disney Experience Account and locate your upcoming reservation under the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section of your account; Select the “Change Reservation” option and scroll down to the Theme Park Tickets section on the next page. Click the “Change” link and edit your Theme Park Ticket dates.
And if your Theme Park tickets were purchased separately, you can also change those dates in your My Disney Experience account. Navigate to the Theme Park Tickets you would like to edit and choose the option to “Change” and you should be able to modify the tickets. Walt Disney World uses date-based pricing for Theme Park Tickets, so keep in mind that if there is a difference in price between your original tickets and the new dates you’d like to purchase, you will be prompted to pay the difference at checkout. And since Guests are currently required to have valid theme park tickets and
Disney Park Pass reservations to enter the Theme Parks, be sure to cancel your old park reservations and make new reservations for your updated Theme Park days.
I hope this helps, Alicia! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
