How do I change my date of birth on my My Disney account? It is listed wrong on the My Disney Experience app and I don't want this to cause any issues for our holiday next year

    Hiya Holly!

Welcome to planDisney! Congrats on having a magical trip planned for 2025! I know it feels like a long way away but it will come sooner than you think.

There are many things that you can edit about your MyDisney Account online but birthdate is one of those fields that you need to speak to a Cast Member about. I would make that call to Technical and Website Support to have this issue resolved.

August is a great time to visit the Parks. I feel like many would disagree with me as it is one of the hottest times of the year in Florida but I found that the crowds are pretty manageable and if you plan well it can be just fine. My family loves to use a neck fan and this year we used a UV-shielded umbrella that was a game-changer. This special umbrella was tiny and lightweight but it created instant cooling shade when opened. It also worked for those surprise summer rain showers. Just remember to hold the umbrella straight out in front of you when you go through security as it can lead to a bag search otherwise. Don't forget to hydrate and take breaks midday!

I hope this helps and that you have a great time!

    Happy Planning!

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
