Hello Jill, welcome to planDisney, thank you for your excellent question!
It sounds as if you have completed your
DAS Advance pre-registration from home, congratulations! I think this is such a convenient way to inquire and hopefully be granted the
Disability Access Service (DAS) accommodation from the comfort of one’s home - I will be gearing up for this soon, with my autistic adult son.
Jill, once you arrive at your first theme park, you are welcome to modify or cancel your pre-selected DAS Advance reservations, but do remember that currently, you will be able to keep these pre-selections and make a new one as soon as you enter the theme park. So, I would recommend keeping everything in place until you arrive because currently, you can have both DAS Advance selections and a same-day DAS Return Time active at the same time (subject to change). Once these have been redeemed, you or anyone in your DAS Guest list can make one DAS Return Time selection at a time either from your My Disney Experience app, from a nearby kiosk, or from the attraction entrance. Please remember, that the person granted the DAS accommodation must be present when boarding.
How to cancel a DAS Return Time selection:
1. Once at the theme park, please open your My Disney Experience app, and click on the three lines at the bottom right corner of your screen.
2. Scroll to the Disability Access Service (DAS) button.
3. Once you see your next Disability Access Service (DAS) selection on the screen, click on the option to cancel. Rest assured, if you cancel a DAS Return Time for an attraction, you may be able to request a Return Time for that attraction later that day, pending availability.
May I direct your attention to our
Services for Guests with Disabilities in preparation for your Disney vacation to further optimize your visit, Jill? I wouldn't want you to miss out on any other accommodation/s to make your day even better.
Disney Tidbit - you are able to utilize the DAS Service and the
Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ services to enhance your theme park touring.
I hope this is helpful to you, Jill, and I wish you a wonderful Disney vacation!
Best Disney Wishes ~ Jacqueline
