    How do I change the credit card from my account? I have changed cards and need to put a new card on my Disney app.

    Hi Michelle, 

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

    One of the reasons why I love MagicBands so much is how they seamlessly integrate every part of my visit to Walt Disney World Resort into one functional (and cute!) bracelet. I actually miss being able to use them for everything when I get home!

    That being said, a common misconception is that you can link a credit card directly to a MagicBand and your My Disney Experience app in order to pay for your purchases during your Disney Parks vacation. The way that the system actually works is that your MagicBand can be used to charge purchases to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel account, which is then charged to the credit card that you’ve assigned to that account (usually one card per hotel room, but more can be added at check in to create multiple accounts). 

    All this to say that you’ll be able to assign your new credit card to your account when you use Online Resort Check-In or visit the Lobby Concierge when you start your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you want to make any purchases before your arrival, such as for Theme Park Tickets or select dining reservations that require pre-payment, just enter your new credit card number into the system when it’s time to purchase and your new card will be automagically linked to your account.
