Hi Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney! And oh my goodness, welcome to the Sunshine State! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is starting TODAY! Let's hop right in and get you ready for the magic!
Okay, so I think you're asking about
check-in time for your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, so that's what I'll go over. If you had a different question, I'm going to suggest you
call Walt Disney World's Guest Services number so you can get the quickest answer possible. The standard check-in time for Walt Disney World Resort hotels is 3 p.m. on your arrival day. If you're arriving after that, you don't need to adjust your time. Checking in anytime after 3 p.m. is golden. If you expect to arrive sooner than 3 p.m., you can still check in to your Resort hotel, but your room may not be ready quite yet. In that case, you can leave your bags with Bell Services and go enjoy the Theme Parks or grab a bite at one of the amazing restaurants at
Disney Springs. Then you can call Bell Services when you get into your room and they'll bring your bags to you.
Stephanie, if you haven't already, I recommend you go ahead and start the
online check-in process on your
My Disney Experience app. You can go through all the steps, including entering credit card information for your meals and purchases, without having to visit the front desk. You'll get a text when your room is ready, giving you one less thing to worry about when you just want to get your vacation underway! You can still leave your luggage with Bell Services if you use online check-in, too. As our friends Timon and Pumbaa would say, "Hakuna Matata! No worries!"
I hope this helps you get your Walt Disney World vacation off to a practically perfect start, Stephanie. Have all the fun, eat all the snacks, and enjoy! And if you have any more questions, just give a little whistle. Your planDisney pals are always here to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K
